Ready to receive a pass, Taylor Owens, a freshman varsity water polo player swims forward towards the goal. The Senior game against Rock Hill provided an opportunity for many freshmen to get playing time. Owens, Quinn Geyter, and June Horton, all freshmen varsity water polo players new to the sport, got lots of opportunities to showcase their improvement from the first tournament. “It was tough because I hadn’t played that much before.” Geyter said, “But after the goal I scored, everything felt so much better.” This was Geyter’s second goal this season.

What’s Next? Water Polo will play their next game against Highland Park at PISD Natatorium on September 26th. Boys water polo team will also play against Jesuit on September 30th.
