Varsity football dominates Homecoming opponent 49-21

Senior Chloe Moore helps No. 32 on the Little Elm varsity team. Walnut Grove played against Little Elm Sep. 7. The player had a hamstring issue and Moore ran out to help and made sure people stayed away, so the athlete could have space. “One of my favorite things about this program is being able to see the injured athletes go back and play the game that they love,” Moore said.

Prepared to score, No. 7 senior John Hutson jukes the opposing Trojan player. The varsity football team played against Newman Smith High School on Friday, Aug. 30. This was the first official game for the varsity football season.

Caitlyn Ketzle is a senior at Walnut Grove High School. She is currently serving her second year as the Editor-in-Chief for Wildcats Wired, and served one year as a photojournalist on Eagle Nation Online at Prosper High School. Caitlyn is a member of the Executive Student Council and is a spirit leader. In her free time, she enjoys photographing school events and hanging out with friends.

Maddie Karmun-Lanza is a senior at Walnut Grove High School. This is her second year on a newspaper team. Maddie is also a part of the Executive Student Council and a spirit leader. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family, going to school events, and traveling.
