Starbucks
Iced caramel apple cream latte
- 7/10 I didn’t really expect to like this one, but it actually wasn’t terrible. It tasted like an apple, but it sort of had a bitter taste to it which contrasted really well with all the sweetness. The cold foam on top blended really well with the apple taste, but it started to taste more like a candy apple in a drink. Personally, I’m not a fan of a lot of sugar since it can be too dominating. So, I would have to give this drink a seven out of ten. The apple was too strong for me, and a little overbearing, and mixed with cold foam it tasted more like desert. But I definitely recommend this drink to people who enjoy an apple blast in their drinks.
Iced apple crisp non-dairy cream chai
- 10/10 This drink was honestly one of the best drinks I have had from Starbucks. It smelled like a candle. This drink was so delicious, it was such a beautiful blend of chai and apple. I am already a big fan of Starbucks chai drinks, but I am usually not a fan of apple flavoring in my drinks. This drink definitely changed my perspective. The way the apple, and cold foam mixed to provide a rich, layered taste, that you could recognize from the first sip was perfect. You can taste the blend of apples incorporated with chai, and the hints of sweetness blasting at your taste buds with every sip. Everytime I put this drink down, I wanted to pick it back up for more. Out of every drink I tried this was the best one. It was a solid ten out of ten, and I definitely recommend this drink to anyone who likes creamy, and smooth drinks.
Iced pumpkin cream chai
- 9/10 This drink tasted like a combination of fall and cinnamon. Personally, I love when drinks have that milky taste. It makes the drink just taste so much more creamy, and smooth. So the mix of milk, and cold foam just provided a creamy aftertaste, and with the addition of pumpkin it was a pop of flavor in the drink. The pumpkin mixed with the creamy blend, made this drink an overall eight out of ten. It was definitely falling very close to the iced apple crisp chai. I wouldn’t recommend this drink to someone who doesn’t like their drinks to taste like milk, because that milky flavor was definitely the base of this Starbucks fall drink.
Dutch Bros
Cookie butter latte
- 8/10 This drink was so delicious, and tasted like an actual cookie. Personally I am not a fan of Dutch Bros so I was a little hesitant to try their drinks. But, the workers were really nice, and offered me free samples to try their new fall drinks. So I went with tasting this one first, and from the first sip you could taste the sugar and cookie taste incorporated into the drink. It tasted sort of like an ice cream sandwich since the base was really thick, and creamy. So it was more like drinking ice cream, but the flavor made up for the whipped base and because it was so delicious I gave it an eight out of ten only because I prefer my drinks to be less thick.
Caramel Pumpkin Brûlée
- 8/10 Lastly I tried my final fall drink. This drink had a great balance between caramel, pumpkin, and coffee. The coffee in the drink didn’t taste bitter at all and had a sweet taste to it. I really liked how none of the flavors were blasting at my taste buds, everything was really blended, and nothing was more prominent than the other. I really didn’t have any complaints about this one, so I would give it a solid eight out of ten. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a drink with combinations
