Jam + Toast is a charming restaurant recently opened on University Drive in Prosper, TX. They serve breakfast and lunch foods with options for in-person dining and takeout. The restaurant offers a warm environment, welcoming service, and a clean, well-decorated space. You are invited in with a colorful coffee bar and an Instagram-ready photo opportunity when you walk through the doors.

Breakfast

Classic Crepe

A delicious and fluffy circle of batter, cooked to perfection. The second you bite, this dish is an explosion of sweetness. Topping it with mixed berries adds a wonderful fresh taste with a bit of acidity, making the whole plate more enjoyable. This delectable breakfast item is topped with hot, golden syrup and a dusting of powdered sugar.

This is the ultimate comfort dish. It made you feel as if you were right at home. Golden, crispy hash browns, with seasoning touches in every bite, added a wonderfully different texture to the dish. It was paired with fluffy scrambled eggs that went well with the entire plate. Adding some of Jam + Toast’s homemade hot sauce is a great addition and creates a spicy and savory fusion of flavor. The most phenomenal part of this meal was the fluffiest, softest biscuit topped with delicious, hot gravy, which just melted in your mouth. The biscuit added a hint of sweetness to an overall savory plate, adding a wonderful balance.

Chicken & Waffle

This Chicken and Waffle platter was absolutely to die for. Choices like smooth, flavorful gravy and sweet, decadent syrup are amazing toppings. The waffle was fluffy, warm, and soft, with a slight sweetness in every bite. Paired with the most crispy, hot, and flavorful chicken pieces, this dish was a wonderful melody of sweet and savory. This dish was absolutely mouth-watering and a must-try on the menu.

Lunch

Turkey Bacon Club

This dish is one of the biggest highlights of the Jam + Toast menu and a must-try for sandwich lovers. Served with delicious, crunchy fries and fried okra, the Turkey Bacon Club is incredibly filling. The sourdough bread incorporates a crunchy texture. The turkey and bacon work together to achieve a satisfying smoky flavor. The star of the show is the tomato. The freshness of the tomato at Jam + Toast gives something extra refreshing to every menu item that uses it.

Cheeseburger

While still delicious, the cheeseburger was a lower point in the lunch options. The bun was perfect and soft. The provided toppings, like tomato and lettuce, were tasty and fresh. The meat of the burger was dry and chewy. The toughness of the burger made the whole plate less enjoyable. This issue can be helped with some of Jam + Toast’s sauces and toppings.

Chopped Salad

You won’t be able to get enough of this salad. The grilled chicken was flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The tomato and lettuce, as previously mentioned, made the whole salad much better with their refreshing taste. The standout was the ranch. Jam + Toast has a homemade ranch that is creamy and outstanding. While the chopped salad was a hit, adding this ranch to any of their salads is highly recommended.

Overall, Jam + Toast is an excellent pick if you’re looking for breakfast or brunch in Prosper. The restaurant is family-friendly and has options for everyone. The staff is always welcoming and happy to answer questions. You can find additional information on their website, https://sites.google.com/view/jamntoast.
