Formal Dresses line in racks at Runway Fashion House in the Gates of Prosper. Runway sells dresses of all kinds for many different occasions, like homecoming and prom. Dresses are documented to ensure the same dress won’t be sold from their store for the same school's prom.

West Grove is anchored by Whole Foods, which broke ground in March and is set to open sometime this year. Chick-fil-A opened its doors in March 2024. “I’m so excited because I haven’t been to Whole Foods in forever, and I love all of the stuff they have,” senior Chloe Dias said. “They have so many hot foods, soups, salad bars, and even a smoothie shop. I could live there. I also can’t wait to have access to higher quality produce on days the Frisco Market isn’t open.”

Surrounded by teammates, No. 1 junior Cameron Newton celebrates with fellow teammates after scoring a touchdown. Newton ran for a total of 293 yards to end the game against Anna. Newton scored 3 touchdowns with 27 carries.
Smiles on their faces, the varsity tennis team celebrates their district win. They were each given individual medals along with a district trophy.
In the air, No. 1 junior Cam Newton hurdles over the opposing defender. Newton is number 1 running back in 5A district. Walnut Grove is 2nd in the 5A district ranking after the win over Denison
Senior Chloe Moore helps No. 32 on the Little Elm varsity team. Walnut Grove played against Little Elm Sep. 7. The player had a hamstring issue and Moore ran out to help and made sure people stayed away, so the athlete could have space. “One of my favorite things about this program is being able to see the injured athletes go back and play the game that they love,” Moore said.

Arm at the ready, No. 11 senior Harper Collins prepares to make her 10th goal of the game. Collins scored 11 total goals throughout the game and 45 goals this season. Collins serves her second year as a Walnut Grove water polo captain.
Prepared to score, No. 7 senior John Hutson jukes the opposing Trojan player. The varsity football team played against Newman Smith High School on Friday, Aug. 30. This was the first official game for the varsity football season.
Wrists flicked, Schaack shoots a basket and scores against the Centennial Titans in the second round of district games.
Senior Jacob Schaack has been playing basketball in the district for 12 years, and ends his season as a leader.

While playing at home on the Wild Cat tennis courts, Walnut Grove tennis’s No.1, Blake Anderson, wins another successful match for his team. Playing a rivaling school, Blake did not fall to the pressure on the court. “I feel as if pressure is a privilege because not everyone has that feeling. I think it is a good thing to be pressured sometimes because if there is none you're obviously not succeeding.”

The meet was held in the Prosper ISD Natatorium. “Honestly, diving has impacted my life with all of the life lessons it gives,” Sitz said. “Failure is good, and you can fail at something. But, if you keep trying you’ll get it right someday.”

Ready to receive a pass, Taylor Owens, a freshman varsity water polo player swims forward towards the goal. The Senior game against Rock Hill provided an opportunity for many freshmen to get playing time. Owens, Quinn Geyter, and June Horton, all freshmen varsity water polo players new to the sport, got lots of opportunities to showcase their improvement from the first tournament. “It was tough because I hadn’t played that much before.” Geyter said, “But after the goal I scored, everything felt so much better.” This was Geyter’s second goal this season.
